in development

We're building tools of our own.

Branchbell started as a consulting and implementation studio. Lately the work has been pointing somewhere new. We’re moving into interactive app development, building software grounded in the same place all our work starts: real problems, felt by real teams.

When the gap is a tool that doesn't exist yet

For years, our work has put us inside mission-driven and person-serving organizations, the kind doing work that’s hard to measure and harder to staff. Across very different settings, the same kind of gap kept surfacing: the sort of problem a strategy deck can name but can’t actually fix, because what’s needed isn’t a plan. It’s a tool that doesn’t exist yet. So we’re building a few.

A youth engagement platform built to help teens make the most of their time in after-school programs.

Markspring gives youth-serving organizations one place to manage teen engagement, from program check-ins and goal setting to incentives, announcements, participation tracking, and progress over time. Teens get a simple, interactive portal that helps them take more ownership of their experience, while staff get the tools and visibility they need to support them.

Markspring is currently in beta, and we’re inviting a small number of youth-serving organizations to help shape what comes next. Beta partners receive hands-on onboarding, an opportunity to influence future features, and discounted licensing as an early adopter.
